OUR EVENT

The Alafia Fat Tire Festival is SWAMP’s premier and favorite annual FUNDRAISING mountain-biking event. Join us for a fun filled weekend of entertainment. Alafia River State Park offers unique topography and some of the most radical elevation changes in Florida. The trails are the most challenging in our riding area.
Moonscape and Gatorback trails were specifically designed for advanced level riders. Less technical, Roller Coaster, Bridges and North Creek trails provide a real adventure for any experienced cyclist. For newer riders, there are Sand Pine, Rock Garden and River Loop trails. Combined with all of the twotrack of Boyette’s trails, there is plenty to ride as a new rider, while still offering an exciting bike ride for the more experienced. The famed Abyss and Ridgeline trails will amaze and challenge all, while the diversity of singletrack, technical berm sections and hilly meadow riding will make for a fun day. "Show and Go" rides will be offered at both trail locations.
